Privacy Policy

Effective: March 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Krishna Connect ("Krishna Connect," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal data when you use our platform, products, and services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope and Roles

This Privacy Policy applies to users globally, subject to local law. Depending on context, Krishna Connect acts as a data controller (or equivalent under applicable law) for account, safety, and service operations. Where third-party integrations are enabled, those providers may process data under their own privacy terms.

2. Personal Data We Collect

  • Account Data: email address, username, display name, profile image, and account settings.
  • User Content: posts, comments, messages, media uploads, and metadata associated with that content.
  • Technical and Device Data: IP address, browser/device details, OS, identifiers, and logs generated through use of the Services.
  • Usage Data: interactions, feature usage, session information, and diagnostic events.
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: session cookies, local storage, and equivalent technologies used for authentication, preferences, analytics, and security.

3. How We Use Personal Data

  • To create, manage, and authenticate your account.
  • To provide core features, including communications, social interactions, and user discovery.
  • To personalize feeds and recommendations and improve product quality.
  • To monitor, detect, and prevent abuse, fraud, policy violations, and security incidents.
  • To enforce our legal terms, community standards, and child safety requirements.
  • To comply with legal obligations and valid law-enforcement or regulatory requests.

4. Legal Bases (Where Applicable)

Where required by law (including GDPR-equivalent regimes), we process personal data based on:

  • Performance of a contract (providing the Services you request).
  • Legitimate interests (service integrity, fraud prevention, safety, and product improvement).
  • Legal obligations (regulatory compliance and lawful disclosures).
  • Consent (where consent is legally required and can be withdrawn as permitted by law).

5. Data Sharing and Disclosures

We do not sell personal data. We may disclose personal data to:

  • Service Providers: vendors that support hosting, infrastructure, analytics, moderation, and security operations under contractual safeguards.
  • Corporate Transactions: in a merger, acquisition, financing, or asset transfer, subject to confidentiality and legal requirements.
  • Legal and Safety Recipients: regulators, courts, or law enforcement where required by law or to prevent imminent harm.

6. Safety, Moderation, and Child Protection

Krishna Connect applies a zero-tolerance approach to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). We use automated and human review to detect and act on policy-violating content.

  • Prohibited content, including CSAM/CSAE material, is removed without delay.
  • Accounts involved in severe child-safety violations may be permanently disabled.
  • Where legally required, reports are made to competent authorities and relevant reporting bodies.

7. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including legal, compliance, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, and safety requirements.

  • Account records are retained while your account remains active.
  • Deleted content may persist in backups for a limited operational period.
  • Safety and enforcement records may be retained longer where legally justified.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, monitoring, and security review processes. No system is completely secure; therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmissions or storage.

9. International Transfers

Krishna Connect may process data in jurisdictions different from your residence. Where required, we apply appropriate transfer safeguards and contractual protections to maintain lawful cross-border data handling.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
  • Request portability of eligible data.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

To submit a rights request, contact us using the details below.

11. Children's Data

The Services are not intended for children under 13 (or a higher minimum age required by local law). If we learn that personal data was collected from an underage user without lawful basis, we will take appropriate steps to delete the data and restrict the account.

12. Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes. Material updates will be communicated through the Services or other appropriate channels, and the effective date will be updated above.
